Select 7s Program
After an 18-month hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, The Carolinas Geographic Rugby Union is proud to announce that our Men’s & Women’s 7s Selects programs are back in full swing for 2022.
Our goal and focus is the betterment and growth of rugby in the CGRU. The assemblies are developmental opportunities for players to enhance their skillset and knowledge of the game through various activities and drills within a high-performance environment in which they can bring back to their clubs. We highly encourage teams to send players of all skill levels.
CGRU Director of 7s JK Anderson shared the following about the upcoming assemblies and participation in the Los Angles Invitational:
“After successful campaigns in 2019 for both our Men’s and Women’s program, its great to be back and offering these assemblies and touring opportunities that allow our players to maximize their growth potential while also competing at the highest level possible. Raising the caliber of play across all teams within our union is key and I’m proud to be a part of program designed to do so. I look forward to working with all players and coaches across the union over the next year.”
